What Are Your Favorite Fall Recipes?

I don't know about you but I'm so looking forward to fall this year. Fall in North Carolina is beautiful. I love cool air, wearing sweat shirts and tasty soups!!  I'm a big fan of Mexican chicken soup. And chili!!  Let me tell you I love chili.

Going to football games on Saturdays and tailgating. Mmm mmm good !!

Do you have favorite recipes?  Are they frugal?  Share!!

  1. I love fall...minus the football. (I loathe football and the whole culture. Were I a religious type, I'd liken it to idolatry.) But I asked for recipes. Here goes: I garden, and can my own tomato soup. Amazing! I like to make slow cooker beef stew in Fall. It's a great way to make cheaper cuts of beef tender. On hectic days, I make a tuna cheddar chowder (recipe from the Tightwad Gazette) with home baked rolls. Desserts are big here in fall too. I love all things blackberry, which is good, as around here, you don't so much as lounge in the porch swing without clippers nearby, the bushes are that crazy. We also press our appls for our own cider/juice. (Juice is processed, cider drank immediately or frozen.) Yes, Fall, save for the start of school, is truly my favorite season. Enjoy.

    1. I would love some good blackberry desserts!
